The Nadì Restaurant is located in the center of the Sassi of Matera in Via dei Fiorentini 3, one of the main and characteristic streets of the ancient districts of Matera, a few steps from the central square of the city.
The Nadì Restaurant is located on the ground floor of a typical palatial building of the Sasso Barisano, one of the two quarters that make up the famous Sassi of Matera. These are houses partly built and partly quarried in the rock whose excavation served to produce the ashlars in tuff with which the building was built, incorporating the cave.
The calcarenitic rock in which part of the restaurant is dug, has soft and soft colors with shades that make the atmosphere of Nadì unique, warm and welcoming, and is made even more comfortable by forced ventilation and air conditioning systems. In the two large inner rooms, in which the built and the quarried are harmoniously connected through the wise use of the arches and the barrel vaults made by the skilled local craftsmen with the ashlars.
Eighty people can comfortably sit in the dining room to reach a hundred if the outdoor area is used.
